Terms and Conditions
Vaccination requirements - It is a condition of our licence that proof of vaccination must be shown for all dogs accepted for boarding. Please check with your veterinary surgeon that your dog is adequately covered and that he or she has had his annual booster.
Kennel Cough vaccination is not compulsory but if administered, must be done a minimum of two weeks prior to boarding. Owners must be aware that Kennel Cough is most often caught in heavily populated dog walking areas. We take every possible precaution to guard against infections brought into the kennels with strict hygiene procedures but cannot be held responsible for them. Dogs without proof of the correct vaccination requirements will be refused admission to the kennels and deposits will be retained. Please refer to paragraphs above.
Bookings – Bookings are taken over the telephone or in person and must be accompanied by a non- refundable and non- transferable deposit of £10 per day of boarding. Bookings for two days or less must be paid for in full at the time of booking and are also non- refundable and non- transferable. Customers are asked to complete, sign and return our Terms and Conditions Registration form which can be downloaded from our website or sent via mail or email. No dog may commence boarding until this form has been completed and signed. Acknowledgements of bookings will be sent if requested via email or mail if an SAE is provided
Animal Welfare - All dogs boarding should be in good health. We ask that you make us aware of any conditions, allergies or behavioural issues that may exist. We will be happy to discuss anything which may adversely affect your dog’s wellbeing whilst boarding, so that we can make his/her stay a happy and pleasant experience. Having accepted your dog for boarding, if we feel that our team’s safety may be compromised by looking after him/her, we will ask for your dog to be removed from our premises and the deposit will be forfeited.
Amendment of Booking - If a booking is shortened less than fourteen days before the first day of boarding the full boarding dates are charged for. For bookings that are shortened more than fourteen days before the first day of boarding, the deposit of £10 per day is forfeited. School Holidays - We reserve the right to apply a minimum of 7 full days boarding during school holidays.
Medication - We are experienced and willing to administer medication for non infectious health problems provided full details are supplied prior to boarding if possible. A medication chart will be produced for signature by the owner.
Feeding – We keep a stock of popular dry and wet dog food – Burns, Barking Heads, James Wellbeloved, Royal Canin, Arden Grange, Chudleys, Pedigree Chum, Chappie, Butchers Tripe and Ben meaty chunks - but are happy for you to provide your own brand if you wish, however there will be no discount for this. We are sorry that we are unable to handle raw unprocessed meat to any dogs boarding. We accept Nature’s Menu and Nature’s Instinct.
Sharing – On very rare occasions, two or more dogs from the same household sharing a kennel sometimes have disagreements. If this happens, we cannot be responsible for any injuries that may be sustained and any vets fees that may be incurred due to injuries are the responsibility of the owner.
Accident/illness – In the event of a serious injury/accident/illness, a Vet will be called, preferably the owners own vet and we will attempt to make contact with the owner or owners representative. The animal may then be moved to the Vet’s surgery at the discretion of the Vet/Proprietor of the Kennels or her representative and/or treated as necessary. We are fully insured with Pet Plan, however if the injury, accident or illness is not a direct cause of boarding, the owner of the dog will be liable for the vets fees.
Exercise - All our boarders are given individual free running in our large grass Enrichment area (subject to poor weather ) at least once a day as well as a countryside lead walk off the premises. If these are not required or allowed for any reason, please inform a member of staff when checking in. We reserve the right not to walk dogs that are excessively strong or difficult on the lead.
Damage – In the unlikely event that your dog causes damage to our premises whilst boarding, the cost of repair will be added to the owners account.
Rates are charged from and including the day of arrival, irrespective of time, up to and including the day of departure. However if collection has been pre-arranged before 10am there will be no charge for the day of departure. This must be indicated at the time of booking. Accounts must be settled in full before the animal is removed from the premises. Cash, cheques and debit cards are accepted. There will be a 2% surcharge for credit cards. Animals not collected 14 days after the due agreed date, will become the property of Little Revel End Limited unless a prior arrangement has been made.
